For Teachers, Staff, Students & Parents

Last updated: August 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the classroom command center platform (the "Service") operated by class-mind.com. The Service is used by teachers, school staff, students, and parents or legal guardians. By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are a student under 13, your parent or legal guardian must provide verifiable consent and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

1. Accounts & Eligibility

  • Teachers & staff: You may create an account using a valid school-issued or professional email. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Students: Students under 13 may not create an account without verifiable parental consent. Students 13 and older may create an account with accurate information.
  • Parents/guardians: By providing consent, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your child and accept responsibility for their use of the Service.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it current.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Use the Service only for legitimate educational and classroom-management purposes.
  • Do not upload, share, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Do not attempt to access data, accounts, or features that you are not authorized to use.
  • Do not interfere with the Service's security, performance, or integrity, or attempt to reverse-engineer it.
  • Teachers and staff are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of lesson plans, assessments, and materials they create or upload.

3. Content & Ownership

  • Your content: You retain ownership of the lesson plans, assessments, resources, and other materials you create or upload. You grant the Service a limited license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the platform for you and your classroom.
  • Platform content: The Service's software, design, branding, and built-in materials are the proprietary property of class-mind.com and are protected by copyright and other laws.
  • Student work: Student submissions, responses, and grades are stored for educational use and are visible to authorized teachers and staff. Parents may request review or deletion per the Privacy Policy.

4. Student & Parent Consent

For students under 13, a parent or legal guardian must provide verifiable consent during account creation. By consenting, the parent agrees to these Terms and to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. Parents may withdraw consent at any time by contacting the student's teacher or school administrator, which will result in deletion of the child's data. Students are expected to use the Service responsibly and to follow their school's acceptable-use policies.

5. Suspension & Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or activity that harms the Service or its users.
  • Schools and administrators may revoke or adjust staff and student access at any time.
  • Upon termination, your content may be removed in accordance with our data-retention practices. Parents may request earlier deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, class-mind.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
  • You are responsible for backing up critical content; the Service is not a substitute for school record-keeping requirements.
  • AI-assisted features are provided to support educators; teachers remain responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before classroom use.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to your school administrator or to the teacher who manages your classroom on this platform.
